Description
ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supported) optical cable is also known as all-dielectric self-supporting optical cable. "All-dielectric" means that the ADSS optical cable is made entirely of dielectric materials. "Self-supporting" means that the cable's reinforcing materials can withstand its own weight and external loads. ADSS fiber optic cables are mainly used on utility poles, therefore they must have high mechanical strength and be able to withstand the impact of high-voltage environments.
